Commercial cleaning · Houston, Texas
Clenz.io is building the bidding layer for US commercial cleaning. Survey a building once, get defensible scope and labour hours out of it — then price the work with your rates, not a table you inherited from somebody else’s franchise.
The engine returns hours and scope only. It never sets your price and it carries no built-in markup.
The position
Most estimating tools arrive pre-loaded with production rates, then quietly add a margin on top. You inherit someone else’s cost structure and someone else’s markup, and you find out which is which when a job loses money.
Clenz.io separates the two. The engine computes scope and hours from what’s actually in the building. You supply every rate, and you set your own margin as an explicit number you can see. A productivity factor defaults to 1.00 — any deviation from it is yours, visible, and adjustable.
The practical consequence: a bid cannot be costed until the tasks it uses have your rates against them. That is the design working, not a gap in it. What builds up is a rate table calibrated to how your crews actually work — and a record of which bids won.
